MAC Makeover and Haul

Hello lovelies, on Saturday I had my makeup done at MAC, I got this as a Christmas present from my Mum and Dad, I just wanted to do a little post on it because I loved my MAC makeover.

The MAC makeover cost £30 and it was for 1 hour and then you spend that £30 and if you want to spend more money on the products you want.

You get to decide what type of makeup you want, I asked for winged eyeliner and red lips, I had a lovely girl called Stacey at Meadowhall do mine and she added eyeliner to my waterline and under the lash line as well, this worked really well and brought out my blue eyes.

The makeover includes everything they first applied moisturiser then started on my eyes while the moisturiser sinked into the skin, Stacey applied a paint point in groundwork, then I think it was wedge eyeshadow into the crease, then applied ice the mineralize eyeshadow in ice on the lid, then swiss chocolate just to define the crease a bit more and blanc type to highlight under the brow bone and then she applied black track eyeliner for the winged eyeliner, then a black eyeliner to the waterline and the lash line but smudged to make it less harsh, then applied mascara. She then used a brow pencil on my brows not sure what shade. She used NW13 studio fix fluid foundation, select moisture cover concealer, then she used mineralize skin finish natural. She then used a matte bronzer to contour not sure what shade, pro longwear blush in all day and a cream colour base to highlight the cheeks. Then for lips she used cherry lip liner and russian red matte lipstick. Then a spray to set the makeup.

The makeup last me for most of the day I wore it at 2pm till 11pm.

I love MAC makeup it's really pigmented and long lasting.

The few bits I bought, mineralize eyeshadow in ice £16.50, matte eyeshadow in swiss chocolate £12, matte lipstick in russian red £14 and pro longwear blush in all day blush £19.

I think MAC makeovers are great and I recommend you having one.

Hope you liked the post.

Birthday Haul

Hello Lovelies, it was my birthday on Thursday and I turned 18, I'm extremely grateful for everything I got and I'm definitely not bragging, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone that got me a present and to all of you for tweeting me happy birthday.

I got a lot of jewellery they wanted to give me something that I could keep and are memorable for my 18th.
The 18 necklace don't know where its from, the two heart necklace is from Argos, not sure where earrings are from, the heart necklace is from H Samuel's, earrings and necklace is from Avon and ring is from Warren James I picked it out and we needed to know for size because I have such thin fingers this fits my middle finger and I'm a size J.

I got a Taylor Swift Wonderstruck set, with a 30ml and 5ml bottle of perfume and a scented body lotion, I don't know how to describe the smell of the perfume but it smells really nice and is my new favourite fragrance, 18th birthday mug, WHSmiths £10 gift card, clutch bag from Avon, a little 18 ornament and a pink scarf.

My sister paid for me to have my nails done, it's just shellac which is like a strong nail polish that can last up to a month, these are my natural nails and I decided just to have a french manicure and have a flower on my ring finger.

Kate Moss Kate set, it has a 30ml bottle of perfume and body lotion, Ted Baker set, it has a body wash, body spray and body lotion, a Thornton's chocolate with a message saying Happy 18th Ashleigh.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that got me a gift I love them all.

I've had a great birthday :)

SewUniqueUK Anchor Bracelet Review

Hello Lovelies, the lovely Gabrielle from SewUniqueUK very kindly sent me an anchor bracelet to review.

Here's what Gabrielle had to say about her jewellery, I'm a 19 year old who goes to university and have a part time job in a clothes shop.
I started SewUniqueUK because I've always loved being creative and making things, this is something I would love to develop full time after uni.
I've always loved textiles and this is a theme I've included in some of designs. I wanted to make my jewellery different to what you can find in shops whilst still being affordable and being a bit more special because it's handmade.
I love the multi coloured braid and then the anchor, I've got no jewellery with anchors on and it's really cute.

It's adjustable so perfect for everyone to have around there wrists.

The anchor bracelet is currently on sale at £4.
SewUniqueUK has some amazing jewellery that I absolutely love.

Like the name SewUniqueUK it's definitely unique jewellery that shops wont have.

The delivery is fast and comes in cute packaging.

Go follow Gabrielle on Twitter and go look at her Shop.

I love jewellery and love little shops like SewUniqueUK, Harts+Crosses and So Kitch they have amazing jewellery at great prices and are unique and hand made.

Hope you liked the post.

Guest Blog Post-Perfume Quiz

Hello lovelies, the lovely Ashleigh from House of Fraser emailed me about wanting to do a blog post for me and her idea was great she created a quiz to help you pick the perfect perfume.

Okay so I know Christmas is over, but gift giving (for me at least) is not. I have three birthdays to buy for in January alone. So when deciding on what to buy people someone suggested perfume and it got me thinking how can we ever choose a perfume for someone else? I find it hard enough to find one for myself.

We don’t know what they look for in a perfume or what smells they like and there are so many to choose from it can be really daunting. That’s why I decided to create a quiz that helps whether you’re looking for someone else or if you’re new to perfume and need some help narrowing down your choices.

I’ve created a multiple choice based quiz that tells you what scent best matches your personality and gives you an example perfume to get you started. My scent was the Viktor and Rolf perfume, Flower Bomb, which is quite accurate as I love soft floral perfumes.

Have a go and see what scent you get or pass it on to your friends for great gift ideas.

Hope you enjoyed the post and find it helpful.

I want to thank Ashleigh for doing the post for me.

Harts+Crosses Review

Hey lovelies, just before Christmas I made a Harts+Crosses order and the lovely Nicola sent me a few other pieces as well.
This is what I got, I also got a ring but it was too big so I gave it to my sister.

I love crosses so this a great shop to buy from.

Here's some of my favourite pieces I got.

I love the multi coloured braid around, you can wear the bracelet with something plain to brighten it up or something multi coloured, I love the peace sign as well. This was £2 but its now sold out on the shop.

This is my favourite bracelet out of all the jewellery and I've worn it the most, it has pearls around the outside, the cross is silver and the stones are a black/purple colour in different lights and can go with something black or purple and purple is my favourite colour. the bracelet was £3.

I love flower earrings if you ever look in my jewellery box that's what I've got most of different flowers in different colours in earrings. That's why I bought two pairs in my order. I like these ones best just because there pink. They are only 50p which is an great price.

As I've said I love crosses, these are simple plain silver earrings that will go with anything. These are £1.

It was quick shipping only took a couple of days.

I will definitely but more Harts+Crosses jewellery in the future.

All of the Harts+Crosses jewellery are amazing and at great prices and Nicky often has offers on so you should definitely go look at her shop.

Nicky currently has a 30% off offer so enter the code 30OFF.

Nicola is such a nice person so you definitely should go look at her jewellery and go follow her on twitter.

Hope you liked the post.

MAC Diva Lipstick Review

Hey lovelies, this was another beauty product I won from the lovely Lucy in her giveaway, so here's a review of the MAC Diva lipstick, she has great blog go take a look.

I love MAC lipsticks, If I could I would buy them all.

I love there sleek black packaging.

Diva is reddish burgundy colour and is great if you don't want to wear a bright red.

This lipstick is perfect for nights out.

It's a matte finish so it can be a little drying on the lips.

It's very pigmented like most MAC lipsticks.

It's very long lasting.

It's one of my new favourite lipsticks and I don't have this sort colour in my collection.

MAC lipstick are £14.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Lucy for this lipstick.

Hope you liked the post and I've got a few more reviews that should be coming up soon.
