MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle

Hey Lovelies, hope your all alright and having a good day. Today I've got a review on MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle, I got this for Christmas and ever since I've been wearing it so much I absolutely love it.
I've always been a highlighter fan and I wanted to try Soft and Gentle for ages but I didn't want to fork out £23 and luckily enough my parents got me it for Christmas, every since getting it I've been using it constantly and has become my new favourite highlighter, it beats any others I have in my collection.

Soft and Gentle looks like a golden peachy champagne sort of highlight and it does but also it has a hint of a pink to it. The highlight is absolutely gorgeous and it highlights your cheeks so well and will suit most skin tones.

The highlighter isn't glittery but metallic and gives such a nice glow to your face. I just use the highlighter on tops of my cheekbone mostly but you can use it on your forehead, nose, under the brow bone or in your inner corner, it's a nice multi purpose product. You can use the highlighter day or night and in any season, it makes your skin look dewy and glowy which just looks amazing. As always I like MAC packaging it's simple but sleek.

It is quite expensive for the highlighter but you do get a lot of product and I would definitely recommend it, if your looking for a new highlighter, it's such a gorgeous highlight and gives your skin a nice glow.

What's your favourite highlighter?

O.P.I Muppets Most Wanted- Glamour Nails

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a good day, it's been snowing all day and still is now but I don't mind I love snow, is everyone else enjoying the snow. Today I'm doing a nail post on these gorgeous O.P.I nail polishes.
My sister got these two nail polishes in a set for Christmas but she let me use them and I thought I would share with you what I thought of them.

Both these nail polishes are gorgeous and I love the combination it gives you, all I did was apply Kermit Me To Speak, I used two coats and then applied Gaining Mole-Mentum over the top.

Kermit Me To Speak is purpley goldy green shade, it shifts to the different colours and I just think its a stunning shade. Gaining Mole-Mentum is a clear base with silver, gold and pale pink shredded glitter, the glitter can stick out and be pointy so you need to use a top coat to prevent it from sticking out. Gaining Mole-Mentum is a lovely shade that you can use over the top of lots other nail polishes too. It's a gorgeous combination that I think looks really glamourous and like you have put effort in and it doesn't even take that long to put on.

The nail polishes last really well, mine lasted just over a week before it started to chip and most nail polishes I use, chip quite easily and quickly so I was really pleased that these lasted that long before chipping.

Overall I think these are amazing nail polishes and I highly recommend them.

What are your favourite O.P.I nail polishes?

Pamering with Yves Rocher

Hey Lovelies, hope your all alright and having a good day. Today I've got a post of pampering with Yves Rocher, these were kindly sent to me from Baobella. I've never tried any of Yves Rocher products before and so I was excited to try them and here's what I think.
First up is the Yves Rocher Organic Oats Silky Cream it is usually £13.50 but it is on offer for £9.45. You get a lot of product in this container which will last you ages, I've been using it most days and I still have lots. The packaging is unique I've not seen packaging like this and I really like it and there isn't a chance of it leaking. Yves Rocher says "Nourishing and deliciously perfumed with organic oats, this melt-in body cream brings incomparable suppleness and softness to the skin, veiling it with lusciousness." I agree with this it isn't a thick cream it's quite thin and you only need a small amount and it soaks into your skin and leaves it so soft without leaving it sticky. It smells really nice too and isn't overpowering. This cream will be good for any skin type and really nourish it. I've been using it after I come out of the bath or shower and I feel really pampered with it.
The Yves Rocher Beaute Des Mains Hand Lotion this is £3.90 but on offer for £2. I use hand cream a lot, my hands get dry easily and in the colder months this when it's essential for me to use it. This hand lotion is really moisturising and keeps them nice and soft. It doesn't leave them sticky which sometimes happens with hand creams and just hydrates them and keeps them soft.
The Yves Rocher Beaute Des Pieds Foot Beauty Care Anti-Fatigue Iced Gel is usually £5 but on offer for £2.50. If you know me I hate feet and mine are quite sensitive I don't like them being touched, I only touch them and won't let anyone else. I didn't know what to expect from this gel but it cools your feet and leaves them feeling so light and I've been really enjoying using it on my feet. You can use it on your feet and legs but I've mostly just used it on my feet.
Last up is the Yves Rocher Fizzy Bath Cube, this is £1.50. I love baths so I used this straight away and I always think baths are the best way to pamper yourself. As soon as I put the bath cube in, it started to fizz and melt, it left the bath cloudy and smelling of coconut and also made my skin feel very soft, it really does relax you and make you feel pampered.

All these products are amazing and make you feel very pampered, I can't decide on my favourite out of them all, they are all just so nice. If your wanting to pamper yourself then definitely have a look at Yves Rocher products.

How do you like to pamper yourself?

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Collection Blake Pure Red

Hey Lovelies hope your all having a nice weekend, sorry for not posting much this week, it was the first week back after Christmas and I've been really busy and not had much time but I do today and I wanted to review the L'oreal Paris Blake Pure Red lipstick as it is such an amazing lipstick and I bought it quite a while ago and I needed to share it with you.
Out of all the reds I most wanted the Blake one as I love Blake Lively and I loved Gossip Girl when it was on TV and I thought this would be the best red to suit me. I have tried L'oreal lipsticks in the past and always loved them and I honestly knew I would love this lipstick and I do it's my favourite drugstore/highstreet red lipstick.

The formulation of the lipstick is absolutely amazing it's so creamy and moisturising even though it is matte and glides on easily and nicely, the lipstick is really pigmented and very long lasting I've worn it for most of a day before and only had to reply it once.

This shade is more of a raspberry red with blue undertones and I don't really have this sort of red in my collection so it has been a nice addition and it makes your teeth look white which is always a bonus. It's such a glamorous shade that I love wearing.

The packaging is sleek and looks more expensive than it is and I really like it. This lipstick is tailored for blonde's but I think it will suit most skin tones and hair colours. It is only £6.99 and you really can't go wrong with this amazing lipstick.

Overall I think it's a beautiful red shade that applies so nicely and is very long lasting and pigmented that I absolutely adore it and I want to try out some of the other reds too.

What do you think to the Blake Pure Red? What's your favourite red from the L'oreal Collection?

My 2014 Story

Hey Lovelies hope your all okay and enjoying the new year. Today I thought I would do a lifestyle type post and do about my year.
My year has had it's up and it's down like I think most people's do but I'm not going to focus on the negative, I'm focusing on the amazing things that have happened this year both personal and from blogging.

At the beginning of the year I got to go to the Harry Potter studios and this was the best present I got, I had so much fun visiting the studios, it will be a memory I'll never forget and I took lots of pictures and filmed it so I'll always remember the day. I've been a huge Harry Potter fan for such a long time so it was so amazing that I got to go and see all the props, costumes, sets, animals just everything.

In May I had been blogging for 2 years, I can't believe that I had been blogging for so long but it's always been so much fun and I've always enjoyed doing it and I will continue to for years to come. I've found that this year my photography skills have improved which I'm really proud of as before blogging I never really took many pictures and it was on phones or compact easy cameras and now I only use a bridging camera but it's really good quality. My blog has grown so much but it's still my little baby that I will always be proud of.

I finished my 2 years at college and achieved a distinction* distinction* distinction in my Health and Social Care which is equivalent to A*A*A in A Levels which I'm so proud of myself as it was a lot of work but I worked really hard to get it. I'm currently at college training to be a teaching assistant which is also a lot of work but I'm really enjoying it and being on a placement at primary school is really enjoyable and hopefully in 2015 I will be qualified and working in a school.

I had the chance to go to a couple events which were so much fun but I was so anxious about going to them. I went to the Sheffield Blogger Meetup and I got to know a lot more bloggers from my hometown and the surrounding area which was really nice and the day was really enjoyable. I went to the AX Paris Press Event in Manchester, I actually travelled on my own to the event and this made me so nervous but I managed to do it, which was out of my comfort zone but I'm proud I did it. I got to meet the lovely Kayleigh I had talked to here for ages and it was so nice finally meeting her and she's just as nice and gorgeous in person. It was the first time I got to meet Heather we have been friends for ages and so it was nice to finally meet her and we got on so well and she's so lovely and I talked to new bloggers as well and they were all so nice. I hope to go to more events in 2015 and meet lots more lovely bloggers.

Me, Heather and Georgina hosted our own blogger meetup in Sheffield, this was so different and something I had never done before but it was so much fun and we accomplished a lot in such a short amount of time and all the bloggers had an amazing time, so it was a huge bonus for us. I wouldn't mind do another meetup in the future.

A huge thing for me was that I have grown in confidence, I'm still not completely confident but this year I accepted myself more and felt more comfortable in myself and I'm not afraid to be myself. I've told so many more people this year about my blog because I am proud of it and I don't feel ashamed or care anymore what anyone else thinks about me or my blog. I'm not going to change myself for anyone but myself.

Having an amazing Christmas with my family and then finding out my parents are getting married in February was so unexpected but I can't wait.

I've had a challenging but good year and I hope 2015 will be even better and that I continue to do what I love.

What's your favourite memory of 2014?
